(A) Installing the driver on Microsoft Windows 2000
================================================================
    1. Make sure your computer is power-off.
    2. Plug the adapter into one of the PCI slots of your PC.
    3. Turn on the power, then boot into Windows 2000.
    4. Windows 2000 will find the new hardware automatically,
       then "Found New Hardware Wizard" dialog box will appear.
    5. Insert the Driver Diskette and click "Next" button.
    6. Select "Search for a suitable driver for my device
       (Recommended)", then click "Next".
    7. Select "Specify a location" and click the "Next" button.
    8. In the dialog box, specify the directory of the driver
       files. For example:

             X:\WIN2000
             Notice: X: means the Floppy drive,
                     such as: A:, or B: etc.

       and then click "OK".

    9. Click the "Next" button in the "Add New Hardware Wizard" 
       dialog box.
   10. When Windows prompts with "DigitalChina DCN-530TX Fast 
       Ethernet Adapter", click the "Finsh" button to complete 
       installation.
   11. Remove the Driver Diskette.

(B) Configuring the driver on Microsoft Windows 2000
================================================================

    1. Double click the "My Computer" icon.
    2. Double click the "Control Panel" icon.
    3. Double Click the "System" icon.
    4. Select the "Hardware" tab from the "System Properties"
       dialog box.
    5. Click the "Device Manager" button.
    6. Double click "DigitalChina DCN-530TX Fast Ethernet 
       Adapter" from "Network adapters" item.
    7. Select "Advanced" tab in the dialog box.
    8. There are 9 items in the "Property" box.

       ------Media Type      
       .Specify the media type for the adapter.
       .Default: AutoSense
       
       ------PME Enable
       .Specify if Wake On Lan function is enabled.
       .This function depends on that if your PC supports PCI 2.2
       .Default: Enabled
                       
       ------Wake On Ping
       .Specify if Wake on receiving packets from a "Ping" 
        operation is enabled. 
       ."PME Enable" must also be enabled to make this function
        work.
       .Default: Enabled

       ------Link Wakeup(Off->On)
       .Specify if Wake on the detection of physical link on is
        enabled.
       ."PME Enable" must also be enabled to make this function 
        work.
       .Default: Enabled
       
       ------Link Wakeup(On->Off)
       .Specify if Wake on the detection of physical link off is
        enabled.
       ."PME Enable" must also be enabled to make this function 
        work.
       .Default: Disabled

       ------Magic Packet Wakeup
       .Specify if Wake on receiving Magic Packet is enabled.
       ."PME Enable" must also be enabled to make this function
        work.
       .Default: Enabled

       ------Flow Control
       .Specify if 802.3x feature is enabled.
       .Default: Enabled
       
       ------Priority Packet
       .Specify if 802.1p feature is enabled.
       .Default: Disabled
       
       ------VLAN ID
       .Specify if 802.1q feature is enabled.
       .Support up to 4 VLAN ID.
       .Default: 0 (Disabled)
       
    9. After modifying the configuration, click the "OK" button
       make the new configuration take effect.
