Restore Printer Factory Settings

Use this function to return the machine's printer settings to the factory settings.

This will not reset the network settings.

DocuPrint P268 b/DocuPrint P228 db

  1. Press and hold to turn off the machine.
  2. Make sure that the front cover is closed and the power cord is plugged in.
  3. Hold down 执行 (Go) as you press to turn on the machine. Keep 执行 (Go) pressed down until the 墨粉 (Toner), 感光鼓 (Drum), and 纸张 (Paper) LEDs light up.
  4. Release 执行 (Go). Make sure that all the LEDs turn off.
  5. Press 执行 (Go) eight times. Make sure that all the LEDs light up to indicate the machine has been reset to its factory default settings (except the Interface and Local Language settings).

  1. Press or to display the Reset Menu option, and then press OK.
  2. Press or to display the Factory Reset option, and then press OK.
  3. Press to select Reset.
