Set Quiet Mode

Use Quiet Mode to reduce printing noise. When Quiet Mode is turned On, the print speed becomes slower. The factory setting is Off.

  1. Press and hold to turn the machine off.
  2. Make sure that the front cover is closed and the power cord is plugged in.
  3. Hold down 执行 (Go) as you press to turn on the machine. Keep 执行 (Go) pressed down until the 墨粉 (Toner), 感光鼓 (Drum), and 纸张 (Paper) LEDs light up.
  4. Press 执行 (Go) 11 times to turn the function On or Off.

    All LEDs blink twice when you turn on the Quiet Mode.

    All LEDs blink once when you turn off the Quiet Mode.

  1. Press or to select the General Setup option, and then press OK.
  2. Press or to select the Ecology option, and then press OK.
  3. Press or to select the Quiet Mode option, and then press OK.
  4. Press or to select the On or Off option.
    Press 执行 (Go).
